The rooms are decent for the price, and the staff were courteous. I hadn't expected the mandatory $100 deposit at check-in, though it was refunded the day after checkout. Trash was piled near the elevators in the hallways on several floors on both days we were there, but it didn't affect our stay.

We booked online through hotels.com, but our room wasn't available when we arrived. Staff were little help in finding out whether the room we'd booked had even been cleaned. We agreed to take another room, then found it had no smoke detector, a refrigerator that wasn't cooling, and terrible TV reception. You don't even get what you paid for. When we told the front desk we were leaving, they only offered the room we'd originally booked, which was now supposedly “clean.” No thanks. Their no-refunds policy ruined our day trip. Thanks for nothing, Supar Quality Inn.

The room keys kept failing, and twice we had to go back to the desk to have them reprogrammed. The first night I stepped outside, got locked out, and couldn't get back in. I called the number on the sign six times with no answer, then rang the buzzer over and over. Nobody came, and I was stuck outside for 20 minutes. Two women were passed out in the lobby, one lying on the floor. The elevator had dirty towels in it and smelled like urine. We also had a string of problems getting the room we paid for. First we were given a key to a room that was occupied. The next room had two beds, though we'd paid for a king. On the third trip to the desk we finally got the right room, but it was filthy: the shower hadn't been cleaned, there was food, an egg, clogging the bathtub drain, the space under the bed was disgusting, and even the lamps were grimy. This was by far the worst hotel we've stayed in, and we've stayed at many. From the start, it was a disaster. The place is poorly run, unsanitary, and frustrating, with dirty rooms, repeated key trouble, and no customer service. I wouldn't recommend staying here under any circumstances. I took several photos, but couldn't post them.

At first it looks good, but then you notice details like the phone has no wires, so you can't call out. After a long day of travel, all my husband wanted was to watch TV, but it kept cutting out even though I was told they had “fixed” it. The evening front desk person could've been a little nicer.
