Hampton Inn & Suites Manteca

We always come back here when we're in town to visit family. Traveling with our large dog, we ask for the same room each time so we don't disturb other guests, and there's plenty of outdoor space to walk the dog. The staff are especially kind and accommodating. It's super clean, has lots of parking, and the breakfast setup is one of the best. Nice restaurants, shopping, gas stations, and the 5 & 99 freeways are all close by.

I've had nicer rooms for this price, and the room itself wasn't that great. They never returned my deposit, claiming I'd tampered with the fire alarm. I never touched it. It feels like another way big businesses get more money out of you. You can find a better room for less.

There were tons of restaurants and shops within walking distance, including a theater, with the hotel next to Bass Pro Shop and a walking mall. Our suite was huge, with plenty of room to spread out in the afternoons and evenings. The beds and couch were comfortable. I liked that the kitchen area was separate, and the bathroom sink was outside the shower and toilet area, which made it easier for several people to get ready. We'd definitely stay here again.

We booked five rooms, and at first they wanted to put our suite on a different floor. Once we pointed out that we had five rooms, a suite on our floor suddenly became available. We appreciated having two adjoining rooms, since it was easy to borrow the next door room's ironing board when the one in our handicap room was broken. The hotel was nice, though a little far from downtown and a bit pricey. Breakfast was always good, and the server was attentive.
