Linda's By The Lake

We were treated to a beautiful sunrise each morning during our Thanksgiving visit with family. The bed was very comfortable, and everything we needed was close at hand. Linda was accommodating and available if we had questions, while still giving us privacy. We'd definitely stay again.

The lakefront views and Maple Valley location were a big part of what made this place such a find near Seattle. We stayed a few nights and would gladly come back. There was breakfast and food supplied, plus a large bathroom, jacuzzi, and amenities. The host service was great too. A stay at Linda’s by the Lake seems worth it whether it's one night or ten. They deserve their 5 star rating.

We saw baby geese and ducks, butterflies, birds, and even a rainbow trout from those big windows overlooking the quiet, peaceful lake. There's no outlet road or traffic, and the park is only a very short walk away. In the morning, step onto the patio and open the refrigerator to find a lovely spread of scrumptious breakfast waiting. You never hear the breakfast fairy leave it. Linda's kitchen is so well organized and stocked, with a small refrigerator, goodies on the counters and in the cupboards, and all the pans, appliances, dishes, and utensils you might need. There's so much there that we couldn't use it all. The shelves are full of amazing books and interesting trinkets, towels are everywhere, and everything you'd need is beautifully displayed. Linda herself is worth meeting. Once you're there, you'll never want to leave.

We stayed for two nights while in town for a cousin's wedding. The lake was beautiful, and the place felt relaxing, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was good and had a nice variety, and the bed was comfy too. I'd definitely recommend Linda's.
