Grassy Flats Resort & Beach Club

We had a gorgeous sunrise from our balcony, and the property itself is beautiful all around. The room was just right, the pool and hot tub were clean and relaxing, and the food and drinks were excellent. The store was well stocked, and they could cook whatever you bought there. Staff were all so nice and helpful. It’s a quiet, serene place to fully unwind.

The bartenders were the only good part of the stay. We paid $3,000 for four nights and still couldn’t use the amenities. The rooms badly need updating, and the front desk staff were inadequate at best. We booked specifically for the rooftop deck, then they reserved it for a private party on a Friday night and kept the music blasting all night. We also paid over $200 for the aqua cabana, only to find other people using it for free. We will never return.

We were a little apprehensive bringing our whole family of seven somewhere we’d never been, but ended up having one of our most enjoyable weeks. Even over Christmas break, the small resort never felt crowded. The weather was perfect, the facilities were excellent, and the resort restaurant was easily the best of all the places we tried. Staff were very helpful, kayaking was free, and the well-stocked on-site Market had coffee, snacks, and other things we needed, all chargeable to the room. We’d definitely recommend it.

The room details were so thoughtfully done, and the staff always greeted us with a smile and helped right away. The kitchen and bar made the best food and drinks I’ve ever had, and they keep finding ways to improve the menu. The location is breathtaking too. Can’t wait to return.
