Everything is gathered in one little spot, with gorgeous views: a gas station, trading post, outdoor games, fire pit, and restaurant. I loved my stay. The room was really nice and everyone working there was so kind. The food was SO GOOD, and I picked up a great chai tea latte before heading out. Horseshoe Bend is about a 30-35 minute drive away, and one of the Grand Canyon entrances is two hours away.

The staff were great, and we really liked the outside bar, fire, and big screen TV. We had excellent meals at The Lonely Jack Rabbit restaurant too. Our unit was very comfortable, roomy, and nicely decorated, and it had clearly been remodeled recently. There was a living area, dining table for six, refrigerator, and dishwasher. The main bedroom had a queen bed, sink, and toilet; there was also a room with two twin beds and a bathroom with a roomy shower.

We loved sitting around the outdoor fire pits under the stars each night. The restaurant was excellent, especially the Navajo Taco Salad and Blue Corn Cookies. Our waitress, Juanda, was so exceptional that we ate there every night of the trip. The lodge has been completely renovated and feels lovely. The morning and sunset views are stunning, and it's only a short drive to Page. There's also plenty to do and explore around Marble Canyon/Lees Ferry. It's very dog friendly, even for XL dogs, with lots of well-lit space to walk. If you want peace and solitude with all the modern conveniences you could need, this is the place. We will definitely be back.

We stayed in the suite, which came with a covered parking space for one car. It was peaceful in winter, with scenic views, and there's a nice outdoor seating area with a fire pit for looking at the stars when it's clear. The rooms appear recently built or remodeled. Heat worked well, the lighting was well designed, and there was plenty of hot water. Colorado River access is a few miles away by car. A few practical things could be improved. The floor wasn't as clean as it should have been. The shower had no shelf or hooks, so there was nowhere to put shampoo or body wash. The entrance door couldn't be held open, which made carrying things in and out a hassle since you had to fob in each time. The bedroom light and fan controls were on the wrong side of the switch, so you have to reach around to find it. Page is a long drive if you're going there to eat or take tours, and there are no groceries nearby, so bring what you need. There is a gas station on the property.

Bird lovers can walk two minutes from the motel to the Navajo (car) Bridge and watch condors beneath it. The cottages are beautifully furnished, cozy, and sleekly desert themed, with what you need, including a private fire pit. The restaurant serves the best coffee and food, and the staff are kind and genuine, especially Wanda. A little piece of heaven in the hills of Marble Canyon, with expansive desert views. It's hands down our favorite motel-resort, a truly magical place. The less-than-great reviews came before the current renovation, which is perfection.
