We had to cancel because of an injury. I understood that my initial deposit wouldn't be refunded, since we were past that cancellation deadline, but we were still within the period when the rest of the stay shouldn't have been charged. They charged us for the full stay anyway. When I called the Rockmere to ask about it, the person there wouldn't discuss it and hung up. He hung up again when I called back. I've never been treated so rudely by an innkeeper. I wouldn't stay here.

We had enough rooms for our group, and it was handy to have somewhere to crash after visiting nearby cities. The layout was interesting, though a few light switches didn't work. Marblehead itself doesn't have a lot to do, but there are cute restaurants around and the food was good.
