The Essex condo complex is fairly affordable for a Marco Island visit. It’s close to the public beach access and other nearby spots, and the accommodations are reasonably nice and comfortable.

Our family with three kids had more than enough room here, and it felt very clean, quiet, and homey. The full kitchen gave us options for meals when we didn’t feel like going out. The location is wonderful, with a short walk to the beach in either direction, plus restaurants and ice cream just down the road. We’ll be back, and we’ll be sad to leave.

We saw burrowing owls right beside the buildings, which was exciting. We rented a condo here for a few days for my mom’s birthday, and it was about as close to the beach as we could get. There’s a tennis court and a small pool, plus restaurants just a minute or two away. The condos were spacious enough to cook in, but the grills were dirty and oddly placed in the parking lot. The buildings could use some work and seem like they haven’t been updated in a while. I also think the name has changed, because the photos here don’t quite match what the building looks like.
