The price was very reasonable, the location was great, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I didn't find the room filthy, but it could've used more cleaning. The bed and bathroom seemed nicely cleaned, though. The smell of marijuana hit me as soon as I walked in, and it was so strong I looked around to see if someone had left any, but I didn't find anything. It wasn't a bad one-night stay, but personally I'm not sure I'd come back.

We called ahead to sort out a few details, and the person who answered was incredibly helpful, patient, and professional. The room was dated and had visible cosmetic damage, but it wasn't overwhelming or uncomfortable, and everything was clean. Our room near the stairs was surprisingly quiet, even with people moving around outside. The sheets and blankets were clean and super comfy, and the air conditioner worked great. There's parking out back for oversized vehicles, including 18 wheelers, plenty of food within walking distance, and a Walmart across the street. At this price, I'd recommend it for a short stay and would definitely come back.

The location is handy, close to several businesses, but I wouldn't stay here again. The AC cover was off and lying in the middle of the room when I walked in. The linens were shabby, and the room smelled as if someone had smoked in it recently. There were cigarette burns on the blankets, counters, and tub.

The friendly staff and $15 pet fee were pluses, and for the price the room was better than I expected, with a fridge and microwave. It was clean and smelled good, though peeling paint and a battered bathroom door made it look rough. What bothered me was the safety latch, which was held on by one very loose screw. As a woman traveling alone, that was unnerving. I'd recommend the place and stay again if I pass through marianna.
