For $200 a night, there shouldn’t be mold in the shower. That was a real letdown in a hotel that otherwise feels fresh and welcoming, with thoughtfully designed rooms and common areas. The indoor pool was a big highlight, and it’s a beautiful new place with a modern feel. Breakfast had a pretty limited selection compared with what we expected. A little more care with cleanliness and more breakfast choices would make a difference. We’d consider coming back and hope those things are addressed.

The breakfast was really nice, the view was pretty good, and the staff were amazing. We had a great room, clean and good for a place to rest, though I noticed a small patch of water damage on the ceiling and what looked like plastered holes that hadn’t been painted over. No problems, just wanted to mention it. The fountain water tasted like chlorine, so bring your own water. The staff were super kind and accommodating during our one-night stay before heading to Phoenix for the rest of our trip. We’ll absolutely stay here again!

We’d give this hotel a 10 and highly recommend it. The free breakfast in the morning had an amazing range of options for different diets, including vegan, gluten-free, and keto. Our bed was extremely comfortable and the room temperature was just right. They supplied shampoo, conditioner, and soap. The indoor pool was really nice, and the hotel was immaculately clean and accommodating. The manager was pleasant and gave us good directions for parking near our room. There was a distinct bleach smell in the lobby, but we couldn’t smell it once we got to our room.

The front desk guys are always welcoming. I’ll definitely be back. I haven’t had a chance to thank the housekeeping team in person, so I’ll do it here: they’ve been the most attentive and consistent crew I’ve experienced in a long time.

The indoor pool was really nice, and breakfast was great. It was an easy, convenient stay in a very clean place. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Great job La Quinta Maricopa!
