Hampton Inn Marion

Kelly deserves a special mention. She was the kindest host we’ve had and went out of her way for us throughout the stay. The rest of the staff were just as accommodating. We travel a lot and this place really stood out: it’s super clean and updated, with a great pool, spa, and gym. Breakfast was so good, and the hot options changed daily. There was so much to choose from that you’d have to try not to find something to eat. This is a gem, and we’ll definitely be back. Thanks for a wonderful stay that has set a high bar for other hotels!

Coffee and hot tea were available all the time, which was great for me as a coffeeholic, and my kids loved the hot chocolate and cookies. That helped make our weekend getaway in Marion so nice. The Hampton Inn by Hilton was beautifully decorated for Christmas, and everything was clean. The staff were extremely friendly and made us feel welcome. Breakfast was delicious, and the woman who prepared it and cleaned the area was especially kind. Our room was clean, and the beds were very comfortable. I’d give it 10 out of 10 and would stay again.

We’ve got relatives nearby, so we’re staying here again a few days after Christmas. The hotel is quiet, the beds are comfortable, and everything in the room works. There’s a coffeemaker, iron, hair dryer, TV, and dorm-size refrigerator. Breakfast was very good, with eggs, cereal, make-your-own waffles, toast, fruit, and juice. They also make especially good chocolate chip cookies fresh every day. We loved our stay at the Hampton.

The pumpkin decorating contest was a fun touch, especially getting to vote on the entries. We were in Marion, NC to visit our son, who lives nearby, and the staff made us feel welcome with smiles and useful local tips. The hotel is close to the Blue Ridge Parkway and other outdoor attractions, while still feeling quiet and tucked away. Our room was spotless and spacious, and the indoor pool was clean and a nice way to wind down. Breakfast had plenty of hot and cold choices. The place was warmly and thoughtfully decorated, modern but homey, and we’ll definitely come back. Highly recommend it for a family visit.
