The breakfast was a real highlight, especially those warm cinnamon rolls, the biscuits and gravy, and the coffee from the automated machines. They even put out chocolate chip cookies each day. The staff were welcoming, and my room was clean, comfortable, and smelled fresh, with an air conditioner that worked well and no musty odor. I travel for work every week and spend a lot of time in hotels, so I can honestly say this Holiday Inn Express in Marion, OH was nicer than many high-end places I’ve stayed. As a Hilton Diamond and Marriott Titanium member, I had high expectations, and this stay surpassed them. I’d definitely recommend it.

The staff really stood out. They kept working hard and stayed cheerful the whole time. Breakfast starts at 5:30 AM, which is great if you’re working early. The room was tidy and practical rather than fancy, and the bed was very comfortable. Being next to Lowe’s hardware store is a bit unusual, but it wasn’t a problem.

We come back whenever I’m in town to visit Grandma, and the place has been very clean on every visit. The kids especially love the pool, even though the water is a little cold. I’d recommend staying here.

For a night in Marion, this is an easy choice. Check-in was straightforward, my room was clean and seemed recently updated, and I enjoyed the coffee. Don’t hesitate to book here if you need somewhere to stay.
