Engvadonia Yosemite B&B

Nicky made sure we felt at home, and Steve shared so much information about Yosemite, honestly better than a paid tour guide in my experience. The property is gorgeous and fun, and they even have a chicken coup. The B&B was clean and close to the park, and the hosts were incredibly warm. Our stay at the Engvadonia B&B was perfect. Thank you, Nicky and Steve, for a memorable experience. We’ll be back!

Nickey was a wonderful host and made us a delicious breakfast. She even sent us off with homemade pear jam and a dream-catcher. The living room and kitchen are very welcoming, and the room was clean and comfortable for us and our dog. We usually don’t stay in a shared setting, but Engvadonia’s layout worked well for privacy since we were on the opposite side of the house from the hosts. The breakfast was lovely and delicious. Nickey and Steve are great hosts who make you feel at home, and they always have useful advice about what to do and which places to visit at Yosemite. A very nice B&B.

Fresh breakfast is prepared each morning, with toast, bacon and eggs or pancakes, plus fruit juices, coffee, and tea. The effort really shows. Steve and Nickey are also happy to share what they know about Yosemite National Park, talk through activities, or just chat. They made us feel at home from day one, with a welcome card, advance contact to check when we’d arrive, and a room prepared even though they had to head out quickly. The house is just outside Mariposa and takes a bit of effort to find, but being remote means it’s quiet. Board games, Netflix, and Internet are available for guests. If you’re staying in the area, I can’t think of a better place.
