We held our second holiday party at Ramada, with catering and service from Slabz Bar & Grill, and it was an incredible night from start to finish. The space had a simple, fun, welcoming feel, with room for people to mingle, laugh, and enjoy themselves. The staff made everything easy. They were attentive and friendly from planning through the event, and handled every detail well. When we added a menu item late, they accommodated it without hesitation. The service felt seamless and welcoming. The food was fresh, flavorful, high quality, and a hit with the group. Guests are still raving about the gelato bar and hand carved beef tenderloin. For a holiday party, team gathering, or group event, I’d highly recommend this combination. We’ll be back without hesitation.

I’ve stayed here several times in the past year and will likely return. It’s close enough to downtown to walk to shops and restaurants, and parking has always been plentiful and nearby. The bar and restaurant inside are handy if you want to stay in, and the indoor pool is a nice amenity in a good spot. The staff have been incredibly friendly and helpful each time. On my latest visit, I got to sleep in a top-floor room.

The suite was pleasantly set up, and the atmosphere was wonderful. Front desk staff and the manager were exceptionally friendly, and the bar and restaurant had good food and friendly service too. The only letdown this time was the ice-cold pool. I’ve been here about a dozen times, and still definitely recommend staying.

The location worked well for us, right by the food coop and within walking distance of third street and downtown. It’s a bit pricey for the UP, but we’d stay here again. The pool was nice, and some rooms have sliding doors into the pool area. I wouldn’t want one on the first floor, though the upper-level rooms could be cool. I wish I’d known that was an option when booking. The elevator is pretty beat up, almost stripped down. I don’t know why they’ve left it that way, but it didn’t bother us. It was kind of fun opening the door after reading reviewers’ complaints and seeing what it looked like. It didn’t disappoint.

The location was the one plus, and the staff were nice. Otherwise, I regretted paying this much: the hotel was run down, the room smelled musty, and there was a lot of mold in the bathroom corners and on the shower mat. The elevator looked like a dilapidated freight elevator. For the price, I expected a lot more. This place felt like an overpriced dump.
