Nick's Cove

We expected a nice bay view and decent pub-style seafood, but the food was way beyond that. It was the kind of culinary treat you’d hope to find at one of the nicer restaurants in The City (SF). We stopped for a bite during our drive up the coast and were blown away. The pups can join you on the deck, too, and both of ours were big fans of the fries. Skip the crazy crowds just down the road in Marshall and give it a try.

The service was fantastic, and the patio was a lovely place to sit in the sun with the dogs, even with plenty of upper-crusty patrons around. I keep stopping at Nick's for an early dinner whenever I’m anywhere near the area, and it never disappoints. This time we split the smash burger. After at least 5 visits, I finally tried it instead of ordering seafood, and it was juicy and delicious, though pretty large. I’ve also had the fresh, flavorful clam chowder and an excellent caesar salad. Good food, views, and service, and maybe the start of a new tradition.

Breakfast was a treat, brought right to our cabin, tasty and laid out beautifully. The place is quaint and nicely appointed, with a luxurious feel that still stays relaxed. Such a fabulous combination.

We’ve always enjoyed coming here for a meal, and now we’re already looking forward to celebrating here for years to come. My wife and I held our wedding dinner at the restaurant with 38 people, and the entire team made the planning easy. Angel from Nick's Cove helped us feel at ease through all of it, from choosing the dinner to arranging the seating chart and planning how we wanted the evening to go. The hospitality was top tier.
