The owner I spoke with was a delight. The hotel is very close to the VA medical center, with a 7-11 and a restaurant an easy walk away. The updated rooms have thoughtful touches and are quite nice, though a bit small. They’re functional.

If you’re booking through a third party, it may be worth contacting the property for check-in details first. I never received the process notice from the booking company, but the owner helped me check in, quickly and in a friendly way. The room was beautiful and comfortable, with thoughtful touches like complimentary popcorn, snacks, and water. It was quiet and just right for several days of solo time away.

They even provided snacks, water, and coffee, and the price was very affordable. I’ve stayed in plenty of hotels, and this one is in my top three. The rooms were spotless and nicely furnished, the location was great, and the water pressure was better than average. The Wi-Fi never dropped, and there was a beautiful TV in the room. I can’t say enough good things about it.

It’s a quaint, convenient, affordable place, and the accommodations feel cozy and homey. The space is small and efficient, but it has plenty of thoughtful things for an extended stay. There were lots of drawers under the bed, though you might want to bring extra hangers or pick some up at the dollar tree.
