We had a comfortable one-night stay before an early flight, and the room was more spacious than I expected. Traveling with my child, I was especially glad there was no smoke smell at all. The air felt fresh and clean as soon as we came in. The amenities were standard, though the soap had a surprisingly luxurious scent. Breakfast was included, but we had to leave before dawn and couldn't try it. The dining room looked bright and roomy, like a pleasant place to eat without feeling crowded. We had a very nice stay and would gladly return.
The staff we met were very friendly, and we chose this place because the area felt safe. Still, our one-night stay was a huge disappointment for the price. We arrived at 11 p.m. and left the next morning, and nearly every part of those 11 hours went wrong. The shower was dirty, and its rod was propped up with a folded box between it and a broken shower wall. The TV wouldn't turn on, and my husband had to force the door bolt into place. When we first entered, the toilet was running and leaking onto the floor, so we used towels to mop up the water. It was late, and we just wanted to sleep, so we assumed maintenance wasn't available. The toilet problem alone wouldn't have bothered me, since things happen, but everything together was too much. Breakfast was awful. At 8 a.m. the egg tray was empty, the sausage was undercooked, the pancake machine was broken, and the apples looked old. We ended up buying breakfast elsewhere.
The staff were phenomenal and very accommodating whenever we needed something, and the free breakfast had decent options. It was peaceful, too, with plenty of cool things nearby to visit. Some rooms are still outdated, but they worked with our paintball team and got us into a recently renovated space for our event. We had a great time and are already looking forward to booking again for the same event next year. Hope my girl Jingles is there again!!
The booking mix-up put a lot of stress on my birthday getaway. Booking.com sent the wrong information, and it took an hour and a half to sort out when I arrived. Tulica at the front desk helped me every step of the way, though, and I was able to check in and enjoy my trip. I liked the free breakfast, which changed from day to day. One morning there were chicken sausage, eggs, bagels, cereal, and a pancake maker; the next, biscuits and gravy, eggs, and the other things from the previous day. The pool is outdoors and closes in fall. There’s also a lovely walking path by the water with places to sit, and the parking felt safe. Dog-friendly rooms are available for a one-time $50 fee. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend the place.
It was quiet at night, and I could always get a hot shower. The hotel did the job for a short stay, but it's showing its age and needs maintenance. The room was tidy, though the lighting was poor, the faucet leaked, and the furniture was beat up. The TV kept cutting in and out, and the desk wasn't comfortable for working. The location is quiet, with little nearby beyond business parks and a gas station. Restaurants, shops, and casinos are about a 10-15 minute drive away. The entry doors and elevator felt worn. The elevator was so slow and creaky that I took the stairs to my fifth-floor room. It was just okay overall.
