Bridgewater Inn

We brought our 93-year-old father, and management made a point of celebrating his birthday by putting his name on the billboard. They went above and beyond to make sure his stay was enjoyable and that we had what we needed. The rooms were spacious, clean, and decorated in Florida style, right on the water and very relaxing. It's pet friendly, close to everything on foot, and we had an excellent weekend. Highly recommend for a relaxing vacation.

We could fish right off the dock outside our room, and the view was beautiful. The inn was quiet and peaceful, the staff were friendly, and it was pet friendly too. There was even a little basket for our pup with a bowl, treats, and towels. We stayed with our family over the 4th of July and had a perfect time. Highly recommend this quaint little inn!

The room felt dated for the price, and the furniture and bed could use replacing. Still, the shower pressure was great, and we enjoyed sitting on the deck watching boats and birds. We were in room #2 at the end of the pier, where the living room's double sliding doors look out over the water. It's a fun, quaint spot for an island feel, with friendly staff, cute shops, and good restaurants nearby. The draw bridge beside the Bridgewater is a lovely place to watch the sunset. It's not a 5-star hotel, but that's not what we were after. A neat place to stay, especially if you fish.

Todd and Kim were warm, helpful hosts, and it's clear they care about this place. We loved staying somewhere unpretentious, with our boat docked right outside the room. It's an older motel, not a 5-star resort, but that suited us. The location is great for fishing and for watching birds, dolphins, and the water. Shops and restaurants are walkable. Road noise can carry into some rooms, depending on where you stay, so bring earplugs or white noise if sounds bother you at night. Parking is tight but manageable. We'll be back soon!
