Lee House Inn

For his 15th birthday in January 2026, my son and I returned to the same room for a weekend trip down memory lane. Our first visit was in September 2022, when he was 11, and he still talks about how magical that trip felt. The view, the historic inn, the creaky floors, and the sense of history all stayed with him. Thank you, Ann Bramm, for being so wonderful and courteous throughout our stay, and Heather, the housekeeper, for keeping everything stocked and clean. Missy, the cook, made amazing breakfasts each morning, including my son’s favorite foods. I hope we can return someday. For now, we treasure the memories we made here. 💓

Heather took care of every detail, even meeting us in person when we arrived late. The location is perfect, an easy walk to Caproni's, the KY Gateway Museum Center, and all the great little shops. Our room was just right, roomy but cozy, clean, and comfortable. Missy's breakfast is the tastiest. I’m still going to try to get the secret to those biscuits ;-) When we come back in season, we’ll stay at the Lee House and visit the Underground Railroad Museum, Washington, St. Patrick's Church with its beautiful pipe organ, and the others.

The breakfast is definitely worth staying for. Missy, the cook, is the GOAT! Anne, Heather, and Missy were amazing staff. Our room was spacious and clean, and the bathroom was spotless. It’s only three or four blocks from the downtown shops and restaurants.

This is our getaway spot every few months, whether for a night or a weekend. The place is gorgeous and full of history. Heather, Missy, and Ann are wonderful, and Missy’s home-cooked breakfast is absolutely wonderful too. You won’t regret staying here!
