STAR INN Hotel

My daughters and I stayed in room 217, the room of peace 🧚🏽, and the owners took great care of us. They’re a husband and wife team I affectionately call Mama and Papa. They made us feel like family and so welcome, even though it’s a hotel. My girls and I appreciate you all so much! I’ve been so busy since we last spoke, Mama. Thanks for being patient with me. Big, big hugs ❣️❣️❣️

This place is gross. The owners are nosey and don’t give you privacy. They walk into your room without asking or knocking. The appliances don’t work, the sink and shower are clogged, and there are roaches and spiders. The bedding isn’t washed well.

The owners are caring and nice, and the rooms are pretty decent. But people were opening and shutting doors all night, screaming in the hallways, and playing extremely loud music. I was woken up several times while trying to fall asleep. They should regulate the noise and the people making it, who are supposedly staying here. It’s very unclear whether they have a problem with visitors. Aside from that, the stay was pretty decent and adequate.

The couple running the motel are very nice, and when I accidentally left my night light behind, they kindly retrieved it so I could come back and pick it up. It’s also not too far from a very good buffet place. Unfortunately, the strong disinfectant or cleanser they use in the hallways started making me feel unwell in the morning. If they switched to a more natural cleaner instead of a chemical one, I would have been happy to stay another night. The room was very small, like a Japanese hotel room, with hardly any space to put away or organize belongings. It would have been extremely cramped for two people. Thankfully I was alone, but it still felt very constrained.
