The guests down the hall were loud until well after midnight, and breakfast wasn't served, despite what the hotel page says. When I went to check out, I waited ten minutes while the front desk person was outside smoking and talking with another employee. My room wasn't properly cleaned or stocked. There was an old coffee bag in the maker, trash in the bin, no regular coffee, creamer or cups, and debris on the coffee tray. I also found hair in the tub, dirt on the floor, no shampoo, conditioner or lotion, a screw and penny on the ice bucket tray, and greasy prints on the nightstand and table. I booked this for a business trip through my app, expecting a usually good room at a reasonable price. The good news ended quickly. It felt like Motel 6 quality for a Days Inn price. This hotel needs attention. Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere.

The breakfast was very limited, with only cold items. I tried the apple juice, but it tasted odd, so I skipped the rest. The water also took a long time to heat up and came out brown at first. With only five cars in the lot, I figured low occupancy might explain it. Once it warmed up, the water was fine. I could hear coughing and toilets flushing, and in the morning I saw the rooms around mine were being cleaned. Even with only five guests, we'd all been put near each other. I checked in late and had a friendly chat with the front desk staff. My room was modern and clean, and the front desk service, room, and price were all excellent apart from issues that seemed tied to low guest numbers. The hotel is just off the main road through town, by a major street intersection, Walmart, and several local businesses.

Housekeeping was great: my room was stocked and very clean, better than at some hotels where I've paid three times as much and had problems with cleaning. The front desk, though, wasn't very friendly. The building's condition is worrying, like places I've seen after a hurricane. I felt uncomfortable about my safety and privacy, and wouldn't recommend this for a woman traveling alone. It's the second-worst hotel I've stayed in. I wish I could attach photos.

The staff were nice, the beds and TVs were good, and it turned out to be a pretty good hotel. The rooms had a bit of a mildew smell and another odor I couldn't place, so they could use a freshening up before guests arrive. I booked a room with a couch bed, but walked into one with a kitchen instead. The desk clerk called the manager, who sorted it out a few minutes later by giving us the kitchen room plus an extra room for the price we'd booked. I appreciated how quickly they fixed the mistake, though I was annoyed that my key to the second room was locked twice.

We were there for 36 hours, and I would say DO NOT STAY HERE, for your safety and sanity. My friend booked the rooms online, but when we called, they said they didn't have them. Two hours later, when I arrived, they were still finishing the cleaning at 9 pm. There was a sign saying no breakfast, just coffee. The receptionist said there was no set time for coffee, it depends who's working, and we should ask if it wasn't out. Ice was only on the first floor; the washer was on the third and dryer on the second. Nobody warned us that the third-floor dryer heats up without tumbling, which seems like a fire hazard. The elevator had no inspection certificate. It shook and jerked, and on the way down to the second floor it didn't always feel like it would stop. It belongs in an amusement park. I was told my dog was a companion animal, not a service animal, because I'm not blind or in a wheelchair. My disability isn't visible, and that reasoning is like saying I need to fall down and have a seizure to prove I'm disabled. They said I could visit my friends in another room, but my dog couldn't come, for safety reasons and because the dog had to stay in its registered room. They don't understand ADA laws. They also threaten to kick guests out whenever there's a noise complaint, any time of day.
