Drury Inn & Suites McAllen

My husband and I came from Dallas because his mom was in the hospital, and this was my second stay here in three years. Drury Inn is the best hotel chain ever. We love the Kickback and drinks, plus the morning breakfast. Our booked room had already been taken, so they upgraded us for free to something like a mini apartment. The front desk staff were kind and very helpful. Everything was clean, and the beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. We love Drury Inn, you guys rock!

It's always a pleasure to stay here when I visit family in the valley. Selling the only Drury in the area is a terrible choice and a huge loss for my family and me. We won't stay at any other hotel nearby.

The rooms were very clean, the breakfast was delicious, dinner was good, and the happy hour came with three drinks. Customer service was great too. There was a small mix-up with one staff member, but it got resolved quickly. A+.

The location and rooms are great, and they're very clean when housekeeping has cleaned them. I left a dead roach, which I named jerry, on a table for nine months as a deliberate test. That leaves me questioning how clean the place is. I also had repeated problems with housekeeping entering rooms despite the do not disturb signs. Several times I returned to find someone had come in without consent, or they entered while I was asleep. It's hard to feel comfortable staying here if they can't ensure your safety or protect your belongings.
