The breakfast was the one good part. The dining area looked clean and organized, and the food was decent. The room itself was dirty, with pet fur on furniture that hadn't been vacuumed. The furniture doesn't get moved, and the corners had dirt and paint chips. The vacuum clearly didn't reach under the bed, where there was garbage and dust bunnies. There was hair in the shower tub, and from the second floor I could see floaters and who knows what else in the pool. From my own experience, asking for another room doesn't help because it's usually cleaned the same way. We'd been excited to splurge on what looked like a great King Suite, with wall-mounted TVs, a jacuzzi, and a fireplace in the description and photos. It was very disappointing. I don't mind pets, but I don't want their fur all over my room. I would NOT recommend this hotel. I'm lowering my customer service rating to 1 because of the response to my review. I didn't write it out of spite or to get money for a better review, I just shared what happened to me. Since the stay was booked under someone else's name, they tried to discredit what I said instead of taking action at the hotel.

The rooms are thoughtfully decorated, the bedding is high quality, and the water pressure was just right. I also appreciated the shower curtain liner. There's no overpowering chlorine smell, and the lobby looks beautiful. Breakfast had some nice standouts, especially fresh fruit, a yogurt dispenser, almond milk, and hash browns. We used to live in Mccall and avoided this place even after it became a Best Western, since the previous chain wasn't nice. Turns out that was a mistake. Under new ownership, it's outstanding. We left the thermostat at 64° and the heat never kicked on. The rooms are well insulated, and the good shades keep heat in and noise out. After dealing with paper-thin bedspreads at an AirBnB at Tamarack earlier this winter, we're staying here from now on.

The towels in our room felt worn and scratchy. Apart from that, staying at your Best Western made our McCall visit even better. We've been to plenty of Best Westerns, and the breakfast here was the best ever. The staff and service were impeccable. Thank you!

The room was cute and really clean, and my dog got a goodie bag. They definitely mean it when they say they're pet friendly. My son loved that he could use the pool 24 hours, and the pool and hot tub were both really nice. It's also a handy spot for exploring McCall or sticking around locally. Five stars.

Beautiful views and easy access to the city, lake, and ski areas. The staff were friendly and helpful. A great place to stay in McCall, and we'll definitely come back.
