Third Street Inn

Breakfast was good, and this is a nice hotel. The rooms feel bare and echoey, with not much light. The bedding is odd too, all square pillows and a very thin blanket.

The inn was surprisingly quiet at night, even though we had a ground floor room in a fairly large McCall property. The front desk staff were polite and helpful. Breakfast had lots of variety, and while there was no meat, there were enough other things to choose from. We liked just about everything about our 2-night stay. The location is great, just south of the busiest part of town and next to a couple of places to eat. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the pool was one of the largest we've seen at a motel. But it was too cold to swim, as other reviewers have said. The hot tub was hot, though the water level was too low, also as others have mentioned. There was no exercise facility. I'd give it 4.5 stars.

The bed was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was good. It's an older hotel, with a very tiny bathroom that really only fits one person at a time and no fan. The pool was freezing. The hot tub was hot, but the water was too low to even turn on the jets.

The room was fine and breakfast acceptable, but the trip was ruined for us. My husband wanted snow and a hot tub for his birthday, and the hot tub was the reason I booked this place. The website didn't say it was out of order, and nobody mentioned it when we checked in. We only found out when we went down to soak and saw an empty tub. That's really disappointing, especially in a ski town. I called last week when I booked and was told it was working, so either I was lied to then or something happened after that. We were told we could use the tub at their sister hotel, Super 8, but driving back and forth in swim gear through cold, snowy weather sounded miserable. The woman at the desk apologized and said she didn't even know, but offered no help beyond sending us to another hotel. If we'd been told, we would've stayed there instead.
