Two weeks after our stay, I developed a really intense itch on my left arm, followed by a rash in a zigzag cluster. I almost never get rashes, and it got so bad I felt like I wanted to peel my skin off. At the doctor, he said it looked consistent with bed bug bites, though when I told him I was sure I didn't have bed bugs, he trusted my judgment and called them mystery bug bites. He didn't know what else to tell me, so I went home panicking and started looking up every possible bite that could look like that. Several articles said bed bug bites can take up to 14 days to show up. That's when I started thinking about the hotel, since I hadn't been anywhere else where this could have happened. My dad used to be an exterminator and checked our whole house, especially my bedroom. He found no bugs, and the house was completely clean. During our two-night stay, my boyfriend and I had found the staff pleasant, our room clean and in order, and had no complaints. I'm not saying the hotel was dirty, because I thought the stay was good overall, but if you stay there, check the furniture, beds, floors, and anything else you can.

We paid good money for a suite, but the sheets and pillows were dirty, and the pullout couch bed had food crumbs folded into it. Worst of all, we found dog 💩 left by previous tenants. Housekeeping also tried to come in at 9:30 in the morning, even though checkout was at 11. Luckily, we had the lock on. I asked for a full refund. The housekeeping is lazy.

The breakfast was a highlight every morning, with fresh, clean food, plenty of variety, and something for everyone. The breakfast wait staff member was an absolute gem, and the bar was delicious. The pool was relaxing, and the place felt quiet throughout. Our room was so quiet we didn't hear a peep. It's comfortable, kind, and clean, and the staff are friendly. I can't say enough about it. You just can't beat this hotel, and I'd definitely stay again. Thanks, Pittsburgh. It's always a pleasure being in your city. Five stars!

The place was clean and comfortable, with a great breakfast and a nice gym. Rucheen at reception made a great first impression. She was welcoming, funny, and really great. It was just a great stay, and I'm looking forward to spending more nights here. Thanks, Rucheen!

The desk staff are very friendly, and the hotel has a nice gym plus a small pool that's family friendly. Breakfast is very good. It's in a great North Hills spot, close to shopping and other things.
