The bathroom is huge, and the room has plenty of space. It’s quiet, clean, and has that old-fashioned motor lodge feel from family road trips back in the 60s through 80s. The proprietor was very accommodating. If you’re in McCook, consider supporting this small business. Also, the ceiling really is hardwood.

We arrived around 2:30 in the morning, and they left the door open for us, which was a big help. It’s a motel, so you know what to expect, and it’s clean with a large bathroom and a decent price. It’s a little off the roadway, but nothing major. You may want to ask for a plunger, though. The pipes don’t have much pull, so the toilet doesn’t overflow, but it doesn’t flush everything either.

The staff were nice to me, and the room had at least five feet of space around the bed. The water got hot, and there was a small fridge and microwave. That was all I needed. I’ll stay again when I’m back.

I just needed somewhere to rest overnight and leave in the morning, and this place worked perfectly. It’s quiet, somewhat secluded, relaxing, and the rooms are very clean with all the essentials. I prefer motels like this to big hotels any day. The owner, Ron, was great.

For a little over $50 a night, I had no complaints and really enjoyed my stay. The motel is older, but things seemed fairly upgraded. I was in McCook on business and wanted an affordable place to sleep; Cedar Inn looked like a quaint little motel on the edge of town. Ron, the owner, was as nice as could be when I called, showed me to the room, and pointed out its features. He seems to be running this small business on his own. I later learned he’s a Rotarian, which made the stay even better. This will be my go-to motel in Mccook.
