The lobby coffee machines made great coffee, though the coffee set out at breakfast wasn't as good. Breakfast could have been much better if the food had been kept properly: the pancakes were old, crunchy, and stuck to the tray, and the potatoes were very dry. The biscuits and gravy were good. Apart from a few scraps under the desk and an empty candy wrapper beneath the couch, the room was as clean as expected. The floor itself could've used a better cleaning.

The one entrance through the main lobby was a bit inconvenient, and check-in took ages. I think the staff need more training. Then they charged me another $8 for drinks I hadn't bought. I showed the manager the charge on my card, but they didn't try to fix it.

The rooms were clean and updated, and the staff were friendly. There are a few quick service places right nearby, with food to take out or eat in. Given how small the city is, the location works well for getting around.

This was one of the five worst IHG hotels I've stayed in. The place was gross, and the elevator alone should've warned me. I gave it two stays, but won't return. I now drive two hours to stay somewhere else.

We got in at 5 a.m. after traveling all night, and they checked us in, then put us in a room in a back corner so hallway noise wouldn't bother us. When our transportation plans fell through, the staff did far more than expected to help. Everyone working there gave us the kind of old-fashioned hospitality and customer care that's hard to find now. A special thanks to the manager and the nice young man on the overnight shift. The hotel was clean and modern, the beds and pillows were comfortable, and breakfast was great. Highly recommend.
