I asked to see the room before paying $90 a night for three people, with the rate going up for additional guests. The bathroom was filthy, with urine buildup in the toilet, a dirty tub and floor, and a musty smell. The woman at the desk was snappy with me. After I left, she put up a no vacancy sign, though more than half the rooms looked empty. I could also see that her living area through the window was dirty.

Carol was friendly and helpful, and my room was very clean. It met or even exceeded what I expected, and it felt like a good value for anyone traveling Highway 95 between Idaho and Nevada. This was my third stay at the Diamond A motel, and it has improved a lot since my first visit about two years ago. The rooms have been remodeled with new carpet and furnishings, and the TVs have been upgraded.

I only tried this place because I had work in the morning, and the motel across the street cost a lot more while looking about the same. I won't stay here again. The carpet was so stained I didn't want to take my shoes off, and I had to kill flies in the room. I think they may have left the door open all day while working on the TV. There was dirt in the corners and around the room, the shower was a no-go, and the bed was uncomfortable. I'd rather have slept in the front seat of my pickup. You're getting less than you pay for, even with the place supposedly remodeling.

Carole was lovely to talk with, and our little dog was warmly welcomed. We had a great room with an amazing view, and the location was sublime, with two gas stations across the street and excellent food next door. We'd absolutely love to come back.

The people really made this stay special. Bob was fun, and the woman who checked us in was awesome. We had a clean, comfortable room and really enjoyed staying at this kind of motel, especially during covid. It's so convenient to have the car right outside your door, and I don't like that you can't open the windows at the "fancy" hotels.
