Crossroads Hotel

It's a no-frills motel, but it does the job. The room was clean, the price decent, and the small-town quiet was nice. McGregor has its own charm, and we'd drive back anytime. The bed was a star, too. We put it through its paces, and it never squeaked or sagged. Ten out of ten on the bed, zero out of ten on the snacks, and a hundred percent on the memories. The popcorn machine was a bust both times we stayed at Crossroads Motel in McGregor, MN, the last two weekends in a row. We tried the code for a late-night snack and got not one kernel. The machine seemed ready to flip me off. Maybe we'll bring our own popcorn next time. My girlfriend and I would stay again.

We picked this hotel even though it was a little farther from our destination, and we'd come back if we're in the area. From the front desk to housekeeping, we were greeted politely and enjoyed all our interactions. The customer service was phenomenal. The breakfast selection is small, but it was definitely nice to have. The pool and hot tub were very clean, and the stay was very pleasant.

It's a clean, warm, quiet little hotel in a pretty remote part of the Northwoods. What made it great was James, the Gentleman at the front desk. He went above and beyond and made me feel very welcome. That's what customer service should be. Thank you, James!

The beds and pillows were comfy, and everything was very clean. The pool and hot tub were great.
