The place looks okay from the road, though the house itself is clearly old. Inside, the living and dining areas were adequate. The kitchen is tiny, but the old fridge and freezer worked okay. Getting around the property was a problem. The gravel driveway has deep ruts, enough to scrape the underside of an ordinary car unless you go slowly, and it gave my 4x4 a workout. It needs leveling. To reach the front door, you have to step across concrete squares that can be slippery when wet. You can walk on the grass beside them, but after all the rain during our stay it was soggy and spongy, so my shoes got soaked. That felt like a safety issue to me. The guest bedroom had two twin beds, a nightstand, dresser, and small closet. The mattresses were so soft and spongy I could barely sit on one without sliding off, and I didn't sleep well. The guest bathroom had a lot of problems. The toilet is very old, round rather than oval, and low to the floor. The shower was a nightmare. When you pull the knob to switch from tub to shower, about half the water still runs into the tub, and the pressure is poor. The tub floor is very slick, with no nonslip coating or stick-on grips. I stepped in, turned on the water, shifted my foot, and slipped. I pulled down the shower rod and curtain and ended up on the floor outside the tub. After that, I put the cotton shower mat inside the shower every time so I wouldn't hurt myself. Bring your own mat to be safe. Another safety issue for me.
