The kitchen was spacious and well equipped, so meal prep was easy, and being close to Wisp Resort and other attractions was a plus. The indoor pool and sauna might be highlights for families, though neither was in great shape. The pool itself was dirty, with dead bugs and murky water. A lot of basic things were missing: there wasn't enough toilet paper, and no bathroom soap was provided. The property feels outdated and badly needs major renovations. It also seemed like deep cleaning had been neglected for a long time. Spider webs were all over, from bedrooms to light fixtures and windows. Furniture was worn out, uncomfortable, and unappealing, with visible dirt and stains. The sheets were stained too. I booked Boulder Heights expecting the luxurious vacation suggested by its online listing. The gap between that description and the actual condition was deeply disappointing. It could be a memorable place, but future guests should know about these problems and consider other options, or get assurance that the issues have been fixed.

The house is spacious and has some nice amenities, but our group of 16 ran into a lot of problems at Boulder Heights. The pool was nice despite tiles coming off, and there was a hot tub, though its cover frame was broken. The sauna had confusing temperature controls and no instructions. The house wasn't clean: crumbs and dirt were on the counters, floors, and tables, cobwebs were on doors and in hard-to-reach spots, and we found spiders in two beds. The rental company caused hassles too. We couldn't get a late checkout even though someone in our group had mobility issues. We lost access to the pool and hot tub for a few hours when they cleaned them during our stay without warning. Afterward the hot tub water was greenish, and someone returned to clean it again on Sunday. Furniture replacement workers showed up at 10 a.m. Saturday with only 20 minutes' warning. The website said the house had been vacant for at least two days before our stay, and there was a six-hour checkout-to-check-in gap after we left, so I don't understand why those jobs couldn't have happened at one of those times.

So beautiful here, we had a wonderful weekend and loved everything about the cabin. Definitely need to go back.
