The outdoor area was a nice place for the kids to spend time, and maintenance handled the problems after we called. Still, the house was disappointing for what we paid. We stayed at Camp Deep Creek for three days with friends, and found broken kitchen cabinets, a refrigerator with very little shelving whose door wouldn't shut properly, and shaky dining chairs. There was also a musty smell in the basement. The grill hadn't been cleaned before we arrived, and the trash cans were full with flies around them. For that price, there are much better options in Deep Creek. The house feels like it's priced at the top end despite being in poor shape.
