Some Kind of Wonderful 4 Bedroom House

We celebrated birthdays here and had such a good time. There’s a cute little trail nearby, and the location worked really well. The house was spacious and clean, and the kitchen had everything we needed. We’d stay again!

Our group of six had plenty of room, and we enjoyed the foosball table and games. The kitchen was well stocked, though we wished the mugs were larger. The kids’ bunk room upstairs was great, but the other bedroom up there was so tight around the king bed that there was barely space to move. That bed squeaked with the slightest touch, so we switched to a downstairs room. There’s decor covering nearly every surface, leaving little usable space. The glass pieces made us nervous with children around, and even the dresser had two vases and two ducks on it. The house also needs updating and a better clean: there was dirt and hair on the sheets and in the showers, and the dryer’s lint trap looked like it hadn’t been emptied in months. We’ll return to DCL, but choose another house.

The home was nice and had enough room for our group of 20 to have dinner. I stayed somewhere else, though. One drawback is that there’s no separate AC for the upstairs.

Spotless, and furnished and decorated really nicely. Five out of five stars.
