The lake view and location were lovely, and there was lots of space in the game room. We enjoyed the hot tub, and the rooms were nice, though the curtains and windows let in so much light that sleeping past 7 a.m. was impossible. When we called, maintenance generally came fairly quickly. The appliances and basic supplies made the stay difficult. Three toilets wouldn’t flush; maintenance partly fixed them, but we kept having trouble all weekend. The dishwasher also failed, though they got it working quickly. More concerning, the fridge wasn’t cold enough to keep food safe. Maintenance said it was fine and that we’d overfilled it, and their instructions said it could take up to 24 hours to cool. Since our food wasn’t cold, they brought us another fridge to use. Also, the property provides no basics at all, not even toilet paper, soap, salt and pepper, or dish soap. Bring everything you might need for a weekend. It was a mixed experience. Newer appliances and a few basic supplies would make a big difference.
