Americas Best Value Inn McMinnville

I stay here often and never have a bad experience. The helpful, friendly staff and clean rooms keep me coming back. The property has improved in a lot of ways over just the last few years, including a new ice machine and breakfast. If that’s what you’re looking for, this is the place.

The motel was very clean throughout our two-day stay. No smells, and even the carpet was really clean. Before booking, we figured a low-flag motel might not be good, but it was nicer than Hampton inn. We’d stayed at Hampton inn for a wedding in Mississippi, and there it smelled really bad, the carpet was dirty, and the sink was clogged. We told the owner this motel is our first choice now. I realized it depends on who runs a motel, not on its flag.

There was mold on the bathroom ceiling and shower curtain, and the carpet felt sticky. For our two-night stay, the room had two towels, two washcloths, and a couple of hand towels. When I asked for clean ones, she only gave us two towels. The ice machine was broken, and breakfast wasn’t appealing, so go out for something. We won’t be back.

My husband, son, and I spent one night here on a short weekend trip. We’d booked a non-smoking room with double beds, but both the beds and the room seemed quite small. Still, it was clean and cozy, and a great value for the price.
