Atticus Hotel

We had a nice stay at this boutique hotel and would come back, especially for the great location. The service was a bit mixed, though. At check-in, neither we nor our friends were told about breakfast, which seems a little confusing. The hotel mentions room service, but staff said breakfast room service is only available Saturday and Sunday. On other days there’s a simple continental breakfast in the restaurant, but guests aren’t told about it.

We spent a lovely weekend here in January. The rainy, cool weather was perfect for staying inside, cozy by the in-room fireplace or playing board games in the lobby library. They also had sparkling wine when we arrived and cappuccinos any time, day or night, which was such a fun perk. We’ll definitely be back when we need another weekend away from city life in Portland!

We had an incredible meal at Cypress, with outstanding food, service, and ambiance. The rest of our visit to McMinnville was just as wonderful, especially our stay at the Atticus Hotel. The staff went above and beyond from the moment we arrived and made the weekend feel special. Our room was beautifully put together with thoughtful local touches: Pendleton robes, hand-picked books, locally sourced tea and coffee, and complimentary espresso in the lobby. The bed was extraordinarily comfortable, one of the best hotel beds we’ve slept in. Already looking forward to coming back.

The staff were super nice and went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. Their recommendations were spot on, too. Great hotel and service, and the 24/7 espresso bar came in handy.
