Comfort Inn & Suites McMinnville Wine Country

If you’re staying in wine country, this place is hard to beat for value. It’s dog friendly, has comfortable beds, and is extremely clean, with a wonderful location. I haven’t stayed at a Comfort Inn in years because I like nice hotels, but this location has clearly upped its game. It’s a gem.

The staff made me feel welcome as soon as I arrived, and they were incredibly friendly and helpful. I also enjoyed the fresh, satisfying complimentary breakfast. My room was spacious, well maintained, and had what I needed to relax. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable, with an easy location for getting to local wineries and attractions. I’d happily return, whether for wine tours or a peaceful getaway.

The rooms aren’t bad, but the WiFi was terribly annoying. It kicked me off every day, and also after I left the building and after midnight. I’ve never seen anything more frustrating. There was a strange leak from the bathroom vent above the toilet, too, and it was never fixed while I was there.

The location made it easy to get anywhere around town, and the aviation museum and the Spruce Goose are only a quarter mile away, which was very exciting to me. The beds were really comfy, the bathrooms very clean, and the whole place was spotless. Everyone greeted me and worked efficiently. They were kind and professional, and made me feel welcome. Breakfast was great, too. The lady in charge did a great job keeping everything stocked and clean.
