Dawson Inn

Lisa puts a lot of work into running this hotel, and it shows. We ended up there after a snowstorm stopped us from driving any farther. We took the right exit by chance and found a quiet, extremely clean place to stay.

Lisa even cleared a path to my car in the morning and checked that I had what I needed. I was caught in blinding snow late at night on a long, dark stretch of I 64, so finding Dawson felt incredibly lucky. The place was perfect, and her hospitality was the best. I'm very grateful. Thanks for everything, Lisa. I'd choose this place without hesitation.

Lisa made us feel genuinely welcome and went well beyond what she had to. The lobby decor is so well done, and I loved the map on the wall. Dawson Inn is clean and quiet, even with its convenient spot beside I-64. It's a lovely inn. We'd happily come back and recommend it to others. 😊

I've stayed with them every year for the last two years while driving from Kentucky to Maryland, but they won't get my business again. I was exhausted when I called for a room this year and hadn't realized I'd passed them about 100 miles earlier. I called back to cancel within two minutes, but they wouldn't refund anything. I lost almost 150 dollars and didn't stay there. I would've accepted a room fee, but keeping the whole amount felt ridiculous. I won't support them in any way.
