Fairfield Inn by Marriott Medford Long Island

It’s a quiet spot close to shops and restaurants, easy to find off NY-112, and parking was simple. For the price, the comfort and value were great. My room was spotless, the bed was comfortable, and everything felt well cared for. Staff were helpful and friendly from check-in to checkout. Breakfast was included with plenty of choices, and both the pool and fitness room were clean and convenient. I’d happily stay again.

The hotel looks brand new after a recent full renovation. Kateryna, the manager, is awesome, and the whole team is welcoming and goes above and beyond. Everything was very clean, with plenty of free parking, complimentary breakfast, and a beautiful pool. I highly recommend it.

They won't honor your profile for a king room, even if you're a Gold Elite member. Marriott should take all Fairfield hotels out of its portfolio. They all suck. There's no laundromat on site either.

There were roaches in the rooms and on the floor of the main dining hall. One even crossed my plate at breakfast. This happened in several rooms in our group. I wouldn’t stay here, and it didn’t feel like the standard I expect from a Marriot. At night there were also people who seemed under the influence in the parking lot, and men lying in the bushes doing drugs. We had to bring the kids inside. I complained to Marriot Bonvoy, and they contacted the hotel. The owner claimed they’d given me two Visa cards at checkout, but that never happened. I asked them to check video footage to confirm it, and they couldn’t produce any. Marriot had to reopen the case, but the owner still refused to resolve it and kept saying the cards had already been given. Between the roaches, the parking lot, and what the owner told Marriot Bonvoy, I’d tell people to avoid this hotel.
