112 Motel

The room had clearly been remodeled recently and looked pretty much new. The bed was big and comfortable, with four pillows, though the room itself was so small you could trip and land on the bed. The hot tub was awkwardly shaped and cramped for both of us. My boyfriend is 6'3 and fit okay, but at 5'4 I felt jammed in there. You also can't see the TV from the tub, so a swivel mount would help. I thought it was odd seeing so many police in the parking lot in the morning. Right after we checked out, we got pulled over as we left the driveway for not signaling 100 feet ahead. We got a verbal warning, then the officers questioned us quite a bit. They said this was a “known drug motel” and that bad things happen here. We were just there to use the tub and get a relaxing night, after working full time. I hadn't heard that from the reviews or Booking.com, and I didn't see anything strange when we went outside. I can't confirm what they said. The stay wasn't bad, but it could be better.

The cleaning crew comes in every day, which was my one complaint since I'm neat and treat the room like my own. The place was quiet, with no traffic or people coming and going, and the front desk guy was friendly. I got my full deposit back. I stayed here in 2019 too, and the remodel since then is a nice improvement. The room was clean, and I would stay again.

Good, budget friendly rooms and friendly, professional staff.

Cozy, with a little creepy feel, lol. The rooms are clean and the bed is okay. Fine for sleeping and heading out.
