The room was comfortable and clean, but I lost an expensive dog collar there and they couldn't find it. They also charged me an extra $15 for my service dog on top of what I paid through booking.com. They called it a deposit, so I asked when it would be returned. She told me it wouldn't be, and I said that's a fee, not a deposit. Her English wasn't very good...

The room looked nice, but there was no mini fridge even though the booking listed one. The door only had a single bolt lock, with no second security measure. The amenity paper looked used and stained, and I found a cockroach in the morning……

We thought it was a great value for the money, and the location near downtown worked perfectly for us. The hotel has been refurbished throughout, with fresh paint, new flooring, comfortable beds, and clean rooms. They also have a laundry room, which was handy.

The check-in was pleasant, and the staff were friendly and accommodating, but the room had serious problems: kick marks on the inside of the door, a smell like "a homeless person," multiple bugs, a blood stain on the side of the mattress, and a loose or broken toilet seat. The surrounding area is popular with junkies and heavily patrolled by police. No, no, no and no.

I was worried at first glance that I'd made a mistake, but the stay turned out better than I could have asked for. The room was clean and comfortable, and the front desk staff were pleasant, helpful, and accommodating. I appreciated the late checkout at no charge. Very professional. If you're looking for a comfortable, clean motel at a good price, I'd recommend it.
