ARRIVE Memphis

We liked the boutique hotel concept and the location, and had hoped to rate it much higher, but several things let us down. We asked through Booking.com for a room with a nice view and got one looking out at a rooftop. There’s no coffee machine in the rooms and no free coffee in the lobby. A cup there costs $3.84, which is ridiculous to us. The shower pressure was extremely low, and the sink drained so slowly that using it was unpleasant and difficult. We think the hotel should refund 20% of our stay.

Richie and his team really got it right at Arrive Memphis. The food was delicious, the cocktails were perfectly made, and every staff member we met was gracious and helpful. The interior feels both beautiful and cozy, with plush bedding and a warm welcome. They’ve thought of little details too, including pet bedding and a sweet treat for dogs. The grit bowl was incredible, you just have to try it. We loved the stay and plan to choose this boutique hotel whenever we’re in the area.

The staff made the stay, from Lamaria and the other ladies greeting us with a smile and helping out to the gentlemen on valet, who were great. The place has a welcoming feel instead of a hotel lobby atmosphere, and the rooms are distinctive and comfortable. Freshly made coffee and breakfast, plus a restaurant and bar, were nice to have. The coffee was brewed just right, the sourdough pizza was amazing, and Grant made the best Old Fashioned I’ve ever had. It’s also an easy walk to Central BBQ and Beale St. Fantastic place to stay.

My husband and I had a wonderful first stay. The room and lobby decorations were lovely, the bed was very comfortable, and the hotel staff were kind and excellent. I’ll definitely come back. God is good, and we pray God smiles on the staff for the kindness they shared with us. Be blessed ❤️.
