The Sea Urchin room was adorable, though on the small side. They made smart use of the space with a fold-down desk, two chairs, a little table, luggage stand, and closet with hangers. Seagull also has a small garden where we sat for a while, and you can walk to the headlands and restaurants. The shower was amazing, especially for a historic property. Staff were nice, breakfast was good, and they accommodated us as vegans. I’d recommend this inn.

We were lucky to have gorgeous sunny weather during our three days in Mendocino, but I can imagine the SeaGull Inn would be lovely in a storm too. It’s a cozy, beautiful place in a stunning spot, and the breakfast was healthy and delicious, served with real care. We had a wonderful time and look forward to coming back.

The ocean is right across the street, and you can walk all around the quaint town from the inn. My partner and I felt at home as soon as we entered the lobby. Ian and Kim welcomed us like family. Ian took time to suggest places for our weekend, including restaurants and hiking trails, and added a personal touch and some humor. Kim was busy getting breakfast trays ready in the morning but still greeted us with cheerful jokes and a smile. The food was delicious and a great start to the day. Our room was cozy and just what we expected. We’ll definitely stay again, and bring friends and family along.

For our first time in Mendocino, staying at The Seagull Inn felt like a good match for the town’s charm and friendly feel. From arriving to leaving, everything went smoothly and was wonderful. We had Frolic, the cozy room beside the office. The breakfast brought to our room was delicious: a warm pumpkin and cream muffin, fresh fruit, yogurt, tea, and coffee. I’d recommend the Seagull Inn Bed and Breakfast to anyone visiting Mendocino.

My elderly mother had a lovely weekend at the Seagull Inn. Ian and his wife were gracious hosts and made her feel so welcome. You can walk to everything from this unbeatable location, and the homemade breakfasts were delicious. We hope to spend another weekend there next time we get up to Mendocino.
