We decided to drop in and try the communal tub and sauna. Had a really nice shower and bath, and luckily had the place to ourselves for a little while. I’d definitely come back :)

A woman at the sandpiper mentioned this place when we were talking about spas, and we loved it. The tub was great, the water felt lovely, and the dry sauna was awesome. I also liked that clothing is optional. We’ll definitely return and book a cottage for a weekend. Thank you!

The location is good, the rate was good, and the staff were friendly. A few things could use attention, though: the rooms felt cold because the heaters didn’t do enough to cut the chill, and the spa was more lukewarm than hot. Guests were smoking in the spa, and staff didn’t seem to address it.

Timber gave me a wonderful 80 massage, with a nice range of techniques, and I left feeling relaxed and good. Before that, we had a marvelous dry sauna session followed by a romantic private soak in the outdoor cedar hot tub. I definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for a proper spa experience in the Mendocino area.

We were lucky to get the Watertower room, which gave us private spa access after hours, including a sauna and a hot tub under the stars. Wonderful! The location is right in the center of town, and parking was easy. The room was cute and comfortable, with a small balcony overlooking Luna restaurant next door. Make reservations there. Breakfast came with huge, great muffins, and the staff were super friendly. The only downside was having to go down a flight of stairs to the toilet in the spa. We’ve been telling friends how nice it is, and would definitely stay again next time we’re in town.
