Super 8 Mendota

We came to race at a nearby track and booked two rooms online and by phone. We arrived late after practice, hoping my family could get some sleep, but they could only find one reservation even though two separate cards had been charged. The front desk couldn't help, and neither could the 1-800 number. After more than an hour of arguing and feeling completely degraded, they suggested we leave and said they'd refund one card. My 11-year-old had to race in the morning, so I went to the room in tears and just ate the cost. Then, while changing for bed, I found dirty underwear and dried urine all over the toilet. When I reported it, they asked me to leave. The whole place smelled awful and the staff were rude. Luckily, the Quality Inn across the street had a room left at the last minute, took us in, and had the cleanest rooms and bathrooms. I'd never book this Super 8 again. Reading the "good" reviews, I wonder if they're made up by owners or employees, since so many use the same words and say the same things. Stay away.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room had what I needed. Best of all, it was budget friendly. The motel was very clean and well-maintained, which made a big difference. I'd love to come back!

We've stayed here quite a few times as a family and always have a lovely time. We love this location. The rooms are clean, the staff are great, and the price is very budget friendly.
