I only ended up here because the Motel 6 across the street was full, so this was my last resort. The room smelled and was in awful condition, with hairs in the bathroom. The front desk woman was rude. Save your money and go to the Motel 6 across the street, whose rooms are much nicer, unless this place is your absolute last option.

The balcony was a nice extra, since you don’t see one in every motel room. Staff were friendly and helpful, always smiling, and the room was clean. The fridge and microwave both worked. My one gripe: the pillows were tiny and flimsy for such a big bed.

I got in around 1:30 a.m., and the woman in the lobby helped me get a room. They took a $50 deposit and said they’d return it after checking the room the next day, which was fine. By about 8 p.m. the next day, it was back in my account. Checkout around 8 a.m. was easy, and I was happy with the price and the room, so I’d recommend staying here. The room itself was nice, with great wood flooring and a big, comfortable bed that didn’t squeak, which is the worst, lol. The TV was a decent size, but most channels just said “TO BE ANNOUNCED,” and the ones showing something didn’t offer much to choose from. I wasn’t there for the TV anyway, but thought I’d mention it. I saw that the pool looked clean, though I didn’t use it.

The washer and dryer were a lifesaver on my last visit. I hadn’t even realized they had them before. I also like the decent-sized mini fridge, especially since I’ve paid more elsewhere and barely gotten a microwave. There’s nearly always someone at the desk because the place stays open 24/7, and food options are close by. I first stopped here a handful of years ago because it’s right off the freeway, and now it’s a regular place for me when I drive through town. Worth a stop!
