Best Western Plus Mentor-Cleveland Northeast

The breakfast setup was phenomenal, with white tablecloths. The gentleman preparing it was a pleasure to talk to and clearly cared about what he served. The front desk employees were exceptional, and the room, restroom, and pool area were all well kept. We spent Labor Day weekend in the area and found this Best Western online. At night it was quiet and relaxed, with no nonsense keeping people awake. Thanks to everyone there for a great stay. I’m looking forward to returning sometime.

The breakfast room felt like a restaurant, with round tables and flowers, and the staff member there was attentive and helpful. He mentioned that the building was originally President Garfield’s tack house. We were in town for a wedding and were surprised by how charming the hotel was. The front desk person was very helpful and let us into our room early without charging extra. We also appreciated the thoughtful touches, like a dim light by the bathroom at night, a nonslip shower floor, and a grab bar. I’d happily come back if we’re in the area.

It has a cozy feel and is quiet, clean, and unique. The people who work there are friendly, too. Best hotel in the area for me. I wouldn’t change a thing.

We spent three nights here in October 2025. The lobby, hallways, and stairwells have a traditional, elegant look, and there’s a second-floor reading nook with a bookshelf full of games and interesting books. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially Mr. Mehul Patel. Breakfast was very good, served from 6:30 am to 9:30 am, and the fitness center was well equipped.
