Baymont by Wyndham Mequon Milwaukee Area

The hotel feels a little dated for what it costs, though I had a great stay. Merced went out of her way to help me and my baby girl, and Abs helped my friend get up the stairs with crutches. Nazi was really sweet at check-in, too.

The pool was huge and heated, and our little ones had a blast. The staff were friendly and the service was great, though there was a pot smell. Breakfast was standard motel food, but good. Our room was clean, but the bathroom was honestly disgusting: there was dirt and black hair in the tub, and it smelled like pee when you sat in it. I couldn't tell if that came from the floor or the sewage. It was a good stay otherwise, but the bathroom and pot smell were drawbacks.

The front desk clerk who was there until 11pm was freaking awesome. Just talking with him made us feel at home, and the customer service throughout was great. Our room was clean and the place was really quiet, which made the stay comfortable. We’ll definitely come back.

The photos on the site gave me the wrong impression. The whole place badly needs updating, and that chair was so rough I'd almost rather have had no chair at all. It made the place feel like they just don't care.
