The beds are top notch, and the whole stay was nice and comfy. There’s no hot tub, but the pool is heated well and very clean. Breakfast was phenomenal!

We usually choose a place to sleep based on reviews and price when we’re driving without a set destination. We had three options this time, and picked this one. The room was very clean, and our king accessible room had a huge shower. Melissa at the front desk was so nice to us. The pool area was especially relaxing. You feel the warmth as soon as you walk in, and the water temperature was just right. I’m usually cold when I’m standing in a pool, but the warm room made it much more enjoyable. It’s open until 11 pm, and the whole area was clean, dimly lit, and peaceful. I’d give the place a 99.9 instead of 100 only because there’s no hot tub. The bed was comfortable, there were enough pillows for both of us, and we got four big towels plus several hand towels and washcloths. That’s more than I’m used to, even at other big chain hotels. I usually bring my own pillow, though. Breakfast was the usual kind, but well stocked. We arrived just a few minutes before it ended, as the staff were putting things away. The gentleman closed the door, let us stay, and asked if we wanted anything he was putting away, so we didn’t feel rushed. At checkout, Visan was in the back, I think in the laundry room, but saw us leaving and was at the desk by the time I turned the corner. It was a very nice, relaxing evening and restful night. Thanks for a nice stay. I highly recommend the place and will stay again if I’m in the area.

My daughter and I stayed at Cobblestone Inn & Suites - Merrill while passing through, and the staff made us feel welcome right away. The lobby, breakfast area, hallways, and our room were all spotless. Our room was spacious and cozy, with a comfortable bed that gave us a great night’s sleep. Breakfast was complimentary and had plenty of choices. The coffee bar even had flavored syrups, a nice touch in the morning. We didn’t get to use the pool, but it and the surrounding area looked very well cared for. There’s no elevator, though with only two floors that probably isn’t a big deal. I’d happily stay again and recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, welcoming place. I look forward to future visits to the area.

We were visiting family in town for a week, and I prefer independent places when I can find them. This one is certainly family run. The owner was on top of things: our bathroom sink wouldn’t drain because previous guests seemed to have clogged it with hair, and after we reported it, he fixed it himself in just a few minutes. We were thrilled. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean. I would’ve liked another chair in the king room, but that’s my only real nit. I’d come back.
