Motel 6 Mesa, AZ - South

I picked Motel 6, Mesa South as a base for exploring the nearby Apache Trail, and Alston passed my preferences along to the Front Desk before I arrived. The recently updated bathroom and shower felt clean and modern. My new Queen bed was comfortable, the TV was easy to use, and the room was bright with plenty of space. The staff were warm, polite, and professional, and seemed genuinely glad I was there. That reflects well on their hiring and training. Thanks for The Best Arizona Hwys Hospitality and for "leaving the light on." I'll recommend this Golden Rule rest and stay, and I'll come back to Motel 6, Mesa South on my next visit. Our room had enough space for my father's wheelchair to get around easily even though it wasn't an ADA room. The bed was comfortable, too, and the employee at check-in was a huge help. This was one of the nicer Motel 6s I've stayed at, and I'd put it near the top of my choices next time I need a place in Phoenix.

The location is handy if you need to stay near the hospital, and the price was reasonable for an average stay. We did get locked out with all of our things still in the room, but the young woman at the desk was extremely helpful and found us another room while we waited for our belongings.

I paid $140 for one night, even though I usually get this hotel for around $40 to $50. Something was going on in town, maybe a concert or baseball practice, and the rate jumped. At that price it wasn't worth it, especially since I arrived close to midnight and had to leave by 11 the next morning.
