Sheraton Mesa Hotel at Wrigleyville West

The staff were the best part, helpful no matter what time I arrived. I was there for a show, and the ballroom and lobby were nice. It's clear they host plenty of events. The rooms were clean and comfortable, but they need renovation to match the downstairs feel. There were loose bathroom floor tiles, the thermostat wouldn't hold a normal temperature, and the shower faucet converter didn't work well. The furniture and lamps were old and nicked, even though the lamps had been retrofitted with built-in phone chargers and outlets.

The staff went out of their way to help, and we felt welcome throughout our stay for Swornfest 2026. Our room was comfortable and great. We were lucky to get one on the first floor, which really helped. We enjoyed staying here and would definitely come back.

The shower was awkward to use. Its layout meant I got almost drenched when turning the water on or off, and the shower head was too high for me to adjust. The soap holder was at the front right corner, so reaching for soap also left me soaked. Since the glass door opened inward, I had to twist around to close it when going in and open it when coming out without soaking my head or getting my hair sopping wet. That's my only negative comment about the room.

J-dubs is exactly who you want representing a hotel, and the Sheridan should be proud to have him. Jaxon made the stay better before it even began: he was attentive, welcoming, professional, and a pleasure to talk to. He anticipated what I needed and was completely on top of things from the moment I walked into the Sheridan Hotel. First impressions matter, and he set a great tone right away. If every hotel hired a Jaxon, hospitality would be undefeated. Kudos to him and the Sheridan.
